Getting blisters on your feet during a race or run can significantly worsen your performance. Recently, Stanford University research has found that medical non-woven fabric tape may be an ideal choice for preventing blisters.
This study was published in the Clinical Journal of Sports Medicine on April 11. Author Grant Lipman noted that runners have long been unable to find an affordable and effective solution to the blister problem. Medical non-woven fabric tape, costing just $2 per roll, is a great option.
The research team recruited 128 ultramarathon runners, who primarily participated in a 2014 event held in Jordan, the Gobi Desert, Madagascar, and the Atacama Desert.
